With the pending demise of Tralee town council, it is good to hear at at the final regular monthly meeting of Tralee Town Council that the money in the town’s coffers will be ring fenced for the Tralee area.
Town Manager Michael McMahon also told the meeting that €100,000 from the suplus will be put aside for the redevlopment of the section of railway from Edward Street to Rock Steet.
The local authority’s financial statement shows there’s a credit balance of just over 11 million euro in Tralee Town Council’s coffers on December 31st last.
