Why is only one of the two barriers reflective? It looks as if they are both invisible at night to cyclists without lights, but that the one on the right might also be invisible to cyclists with front headlamps unless the area is generally well lit. With the high walls on either side of the route, this looks like a route which could be quite scary for commuting after dark, and having to slow to a crawl to negotiate closely-spaced near-invisible obstacles might make it even more intimidating.
